Viacom18 announces the release of nine films in 2011-12

Viacom18 Motion Pictures has announced the release of nine films during the year 2011-12. The company says it has 10 to 12 movies in its kitty,and will be the leader in film industry this and coming year.

Viacom is making diverse films this time.It is making romantic comedies,action,thrillers,drama and lot more.Out of 12,nine have already been finalised and are at various stages of development and production.

“Our release slate for the next year is a reflection of our direction in the Indian film industry – to establish a significant presence across various spectrums of this business.We have an unparalleled slate for this year,” Vikram Malhotra, chief operating officer of Viacom 18Motion Pictures., said in a statement.
The banner is releasing “Tanu Weds Manu” ,”Michael” ,”Shaitan”, “Gangs of Wasseypur”, “Buddah”, “Chasme Badoor” and “Players” and others.
