RIP Wet Look Leggings (a tribute)

Wet look, lyrca leggings was initially popularised by Olivia Newton when she played Sandy in the movie Grease, 1978. Seemed to stick around into the 80s until it died out and only resurfaced on the legs of fetish porn actresses, city hookers and girls at the gym.

Lead by Lady Gaga, 2010 saw a massive 80s revival in music and clothing. The revival of wet look leggings saw many variations of the popular skinny, jet black, style. Many other colours were introduced, bold silver and gold styles were widely avaibable.

Sadly it seems as though the frequency of wet look leggings in winter 2011 is set to be low, and even lower in 2012. Enter patterned leggings/stockings...
