Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns had an opportunity to make an immediate splash Thursday with the No. 6 overall pick in the NFL draft. Taylor also said negative medical reports about his feet leading up to the draft were false. Said Browns general manager Tom Heckert: "They did a CAT scan and he's fine. Heckert also said the Browns are 100 percent satisified that Taylor is a high-character player. He said Brian Norwood, the father of Browns receiver Jordan Norwood, coached Taylor at Penn State and then brought him to Baylor, where he's defensive coordinator.
